Vincent Valeriano DOM, L. Ac. is a native of New Mexico who has always been interested in medicine. Growing up on a ranch at the age of twelve he decided to become a veterinarian. In pre-med he discovered that most animals and people were treated symptomatically. One day he saw a surgical procedure on 20/20 where acupuncture was used as the anesthesia. It was reported that no other anesthesia was used and the patient felt no pain during the procedure (the patient was awake for the procedure). That day, Vincent felt that natural medicine was the correct path to take.
He has worked in various medical and health-related settings involving medical doctors, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, nutritionist, massage therapist and others to provide quality, complementary health care. In the realm of alternative medicine, acupuncturist inherently have the tools to offer natural pain relief and comprehensive pain management. A natural healing protocol can be extremely effective particularly if the patient has allergies.
